Kenka Juku

Kyokushinken

We, at the Ohio Karate Union:Kyokushinkai and the students of Oyama Karate Juku-USA, would like to dedicate this page to our sensei's very first instructor and to one of our fallen founding members whom have both passed on to a greater place and to show that they will be missed and never forgotten....Osu!

At the time of a man's death it is easy to forget his life and what he left behind. Please take a moment to celebrate the lives of our brethren. With such a legacy left for us to continue. There is much to celebrate.

HELP PEOPLE AND WATCH THEM DEVELOP
AND CHANGE AS THE MONTHS AND YEARS
GO BY."

Personal words from Sensei Padron;

"In memory of my very first Sensei. I have never met a more influential man in

my entire life. He treated every student as if they were part of his own body.

Always teaching us that nothing could ever be as bad as we thought, giving us

hope in the Burroughs of New York to strive for something great and that we

were all greater than we thought and, pushing us so that we did not become a

product of our environment.

I am still training and teaching for you Shihan.

Vaya Con Dios Mi Asere, Yo Te Veo Algun Dia"

Sensei Leo Padron of Oyama Karate Juku-USA

SEMPAI RON BROADERICK

Sempai Ron Broadrick is one of the founders of our first dojo. In 2003, Sempai Ron lost his battle with lung cancer.

While training and competing alongside of our core group, Ron always demonstrated the true heart of a warrior.

His insight, humor and, natural talents as a leader are truly missed. Through his son

Jake, whom we presented and promoted Sempai Ron to Shodan rank and the distinct

title of Sempai of Oyama Juku.

Sempai Rons' years of training and friendship were a gift,

as well as a lesson in how to live and die with Honor...

His strength gave us the strength to continue along "The Way."

Constantly keeping our friend and, brother in mind,

"Can you say...Hajime?".

We at Oyama Juku give a deep bow and a strong and spirited "Osu!" to our lost

companero, Sempai Ron Broadrick... nosotros Guerrero.
